A STUDY OF 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy or boast, it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."
1 Corinthians 13:4-7

What this study is about

One of the hardest things we are asked to do is love each other. How do we love those nearest to us, whose faults we know so well? How do we love our neighbor, whom we hardly know? If you have ever struggled to love another, this powerful, new study will be an effective and transformational guide. LOVE IS takes an in-depth look at the four famous verses of 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, often called the "Hymn of Love". Following the teachings of Jesus throughout the gospels, and that of the Apostle Paul, we will discover that love is an action, not a feeling - love is strong, not soft or sentimental - love is committed, not fleeting. Above all else, we will discover that love is the attitude, character, and action of God at work in us.

Come, learn how to love others in a way that can change lives and hearts. The attitudes and actions in these verses are, by far and away, the most exciting way to live. They are love in action. They are God in action. And we are invited into such a movement.
