Elizabeth Head Black is the wife of an Episcopal priest with whom she shares a life dedicated to ministry. Her passion is to communicate God’s undeterred love and presence in our lives and to draw others into a vibrant relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
For the last 17 years, she has written and taught her own bible studies in which she shares her enthusiasm for God’s word with women of all ages. In addition to her commitment to biblical literacy, Elizabeth has written a column, “Faith Reflections,” for her local newspaper and been a contributing writer for church publications, where she contemplates the extraordinary and sacred presence of God in the commonplace events of everyday lives. She is pleased to announce the publication of her first book, Hand in Hand, Walking with the Psalms through Loneliness.
Elizabeth is the mother of two sons, who are the joy of her life. She enjoys reading, painting, gardening, and walking by the bay.
Elizabeth is delighted to share her gift of opening up God’s word for groups of all sizes. For information on scheduling Elizabeth as a speaker or retreat leader for your event, please email her via the Contact Form on this website.
